World Cup Internet Streaming Warning!
Following on from the BBC's announcement that their world cup games will be streamed live on broadband; there has been a following announcement to say that to watch the streams you
must have a TV licence in your office.
This renders them totally useless, as if your office has a tv then you don't need the streaming service.
Yet another useful bit of help for small businesses is ruined by tax and legislation...

Good news (and a warning) if your business cannot afford to let staff take the day off during important world cup matches!
Firstly, if you get a tv in your office to let your staff watch the games; make sure you have a tv licence. Otherwise you could face a fine of several thousand pounds.
Secondly, the BBC have announced that they will be broadcasting all of their live games over the internet; complete with the same commentary and stats as on tv. This means that your employees can watch football as they work (albeit a little slower than usual!), and may help to keep a happy office; which is always good!
